Wiring money can be tricky. Many bank websites are counterintuitive and when there’s sensitive information on the line, you want to make sure it’s correct.

Despite the length of this blog, the process isn’t difficult. We’ll take it step-by-step and by the end, you’ll have no problems wiring money from Chase to MyConstant.

But before you log onto your Chase account, you need to enter your deposit amount on your MyConstant account.

Note: Chase charges you $25 for an outgoing domestic wire, but we’ll reimburse your account $15 for every $1,000 you wire to your MyConstant account.

Create your deposit order on MyConstant first

  1. Log onto MyConstant and click Deposit USD
  1. Once you click Deposit USD, you can enter the amount of money that you’re going to wire from Chase and click Start growing. The amount you enter here must match the amount that you enter in your Chase account. If the numbers don’t match, Prime Trust will send the money back to your Chase account in 5 business days.
  1. After you do that and click done, your MyConstant wire receipt will appear with all the information you’ll need to make your wire transfer on Chase.

Important! The reference number that’s circled in red is unique to each account and wire transfer. It’s extremely important that you save that number because it lets Prime Trust know who they’re sending the money to on MyConstant.

Now that you have the information above, you can create your wire transfer on Chase.

Log onto Chase to make your wire transfer

  1. After logging on to your Chase account, you need to click Send Payments and add a wire recipient — the person or company you’re sending money to. After clicking the Send Payments tab you need to click Add a Wire Recipient
  1. After clicking Add a Wire Recipient, you’ll come to the page below — the recipient here is Prime Trust, LCC. 330 South Rampart Blvd. Suite 260 Summerlin, NV 89145. Then, where it says Message to recipient, you’ll want to enter your Reference Number that you got on your MyConstant receipt.
  1. After filling out the information, click Next. You’ll then come to the page below where you’ll enter the routing number of Prime Trust. A routing number is a sequence of nine digits used to identify a specific bank.
  1. After you’ve entered in the routing number, click Next. Once you do that, the screen below will appear. Here, you need to enter in the bank details of Prime Trust found on your MyConstant wire receipt.
  1. After you enter the bank details, click Next. Once you do that, you’ll be taken to a screen where you can review your entire wire transfer before clicking Add recipient (Chase’s equivalent to clicking send).
  1. Double-check to make sure all the information you’ve entered is correct. Once you’re satisfied, click Add Recipient and you’re done.
  1. After making your transfer, email a PDF of the Chase wire receipt along with your MyConstant reference number to [email protected]. This way we can make sure your funds get to your account smoothly. A wire transfer usually takes 1 to 2 business days to process, and another business hour to appear in your balance.

Your final wire checklist:

  • Make sure the wire amount you enter on MyConstant matches the one you make on Chase.
  • Include your MyConstant Reference Number in the message section of your Chase transfer.
  • Email your completed Chase transfer along with your MyConstant reference number to [email protected]

Making your money work harder for you

Phew! I know that was a lot. But when banks like Chase give you 0.01% APY in a savings account or a maximum 0.05% APY in a certificate of deposit, it’s no wonder that you’ve chosen to entrust your money with us.

When you transfer money to MyConstant, the choice is yours: put it in a fixed-term loan where it can earn up to 7% APR, or leave it in instant access where it accrues 4% APY. Either way, your interest rate with us will consistently beat your bank.

If you have more questions about wiring money, it’s best that you contact Chase directly via their US customer service number: 1-800-935-9935. Or check out Chase’s how to send a wire page.
